‘Fall Workwear’ featuring Assistance League of Seattle Thrift Shop

Virginia FrancesComment

Fall is in the air. I can feel it in my bones. While I know Summer is technically still around for a bit longer, I’m ready. Bring on the cold crisp air, the costume parties, and the gray days which are perfect for reading a favorite novel. Each year the autumn air marks a new beginning for me.  I’m turning 31 next month and ya know, this outfit looks like something a 31 year-old would wear, or at least what my idea of a 31 year-old would have been when I was 17. It’s weird because I never thought of myself looking like someone in their 30’s but here I am and I have to admit that I’m more than okay with it.

Featured Thrift Shop

The Assistance League Thrift Shop in Wallingford is one of my favorites! I was lucky to work just a few doors down from there about 4 years ago and quickly discovered the need to scan their racks every few weeks. The shop is run entirely by volunteers to ensure that all proceeds support their philanthropic programs which provide scholarships and other educational support to low-income students. So thrift, and support this great cause!
